Celebrating our 10-year Anniversary!
The Carousel of Happiness opened on Memorial Day Weekend, 2010 — 10 years ago!
We are generally open year-round, although we are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from October through April.
We will announce our summer hours when we get state and local permission to reopen.
The Carousel is located just off Colo. 119 in the Caribou Village Shopping Center between the Train Cars and the Wild Bear Nature Center. Our address is 20 Lakeview Dr, Nederland, CO 80466
Tickets are $2 for everyone over 9 months old; those younger than 9 months ride free, but they must be accompanied by a paying adult. Frequent riders can purchase punch cards (also $2/ride).
We have a wheelchair ramp, step stools, and our facility is walker-friendly. The carousel has several stationary benches and easy-to-ride seats. The restrooms are handicapped-accessible and have diaper-changing stations.
Directions from Denver/Boulder
Take US 36 west from Denver to Boulder. In Boulder, turn left onto CO-119/Canyon Blvd. Continue on Colo. 119 for 18 miles.
